Fifth grade students from Kendall Christian School went on their annual field trip to Elliott Key in Biscayne National Park and participated in the park's Environmental Education Program. This program works to cultivate an appreciation for the preservation of Biscayne's natural resources. The three day/two night camping trip included ranger-led activates such as a shoreline cleanup, sea grass adventure and hikes into the island's hammock. The students also enjoyed an evening of stargazing and campfire stories.
