A visit from Lt. Tom Parks - October 23, 2002

Lt. Tom Parks, a firefighter with the City of Miami Fire Department, visited the Kindergarten class at Kendall Christian School.  Lt. Parks, whose daughter Emily is a kindergartener, explained to the kids all about fire safety.  He brought with him several pieces of equipment used by the fire fighters and demonstrated to the class how it helps to keep the firefighters safe.  Everyone was made an honorary firefighter for the day and given a red fire hat and badge to take home. Lt. Parks also shared with the children several tips on fire safety. Thank you Lt. Parks for your visit!
